Grissell Anderson was one of the Seven Witches of Torryburn. She was strangled and burned at the stake on November 11th, 1666. These paintings pay homage to the Witches Of Scotland who faced persecution, with a nod to the modern of woman who face an increasingly dangerous world of persecution and a loss of rights in some countries.
